Founded in 2010 in Somerset West, Triggerfish Brewing is one of the pioneers of South African craft beer and the second-oldest craft brewery in the greater Cape Town area. Brewing in small, meticulous batches, they focus on mastering complex classic styles while boldly exploring innovative hybrids. Nestled in the heart of wine country, they launched a pioneering Sour Beer Programme in 2013, using aged wine barrels to create distinctive, character-driven brews. Monsterfish is our latest flavour bomb. Born from an accidental experiment paired with a longstanding ambition to brew a vanilla bourbon infused beer the first iteration was exceptional. Ittook almost 2 years and many recipe iterations to get to the current recipe that matches ormaybe even eclipses that original, accidental creation.

This is a big beer by any standard, fullbody, powerful aroma, strong flavour and a high alcohol percentage.
